Position Summary

The successful Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of account managers (outside sales), inside sales reps, and sales assistants, to drive both short and long term revenue growth. The leadership role of the Sales Manager includes developing the Sales Plan, establishing targets for the team, enforcing and improving the Sales Process, maintaining execution of disciplined Sales Operating System and contributing as a key member of the Management Team.

Candidate must have a proven ability to lead sales efforts of both intangible services and tangible products, moving potential accounts from conception to implementation. In addition, he/she must have a proven track record for leading a field sales team, establishing accountability, coaching/teaching, prospecting for new clients, and creating visibility for the Senior Leadership team. The role at Mytech blends intense focus on account management, ensuring the sustained satisfaction of existing customers, along with hunting for new customers through networking and initial qualification stages with smooth teamwork with internal staff (sales engineers, project managers, service staff) to take opportunities through to close.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

This Sales Manager position will be primarily charged with supporting the Company in each of the following areas of responsibility:

  • Sales Team Management
  • Company Leadership
  • Sales Operating System
  • Strategic Business Development

Qualifications

What we expect in a successful candidate:

  • Seasoned sales management experience (minimum of 3-5 years with demonstrated success meeting sales goals and growing sales) strongly preferred.
  • Proven skills in selling in the technology services industry a plus, with experience in Managed IT Services ideal.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • PC proficiency (Microsoft Office suite) required.
  • Experience with CRM systems (ConnectWise) beneficial.
