Mytech Culture Experience December 2015

In this month’s article I wanted to visit our value of Never Stop Learning. Albert Einstein said “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” This is a great analogy to the technology industry which is constantly shifting and those that stop moving forward fall behind. Technology that was cutting edge a year or two ago is being replaced by bigger, better and faster solutions today.

To provide the Best IT Experience in North America requires a dedicated team on individuals that are willing to keep the bike moving forward. Mytech has designed an internal training matrix for the technical team to ensure each technician and engineer has a specific educational path to ensure they are on track to meet the everyday demands required of our service team to deliver best in class service. This training matrix is a balance of professional certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco and CompTia as well as manufacture specific certifications i.e. Xirrus, IBM, Dell.

Being part of an organization that embraces learning and encourages team members to better themselves both personally and professionally is fun and challenging at the same time.

Sometimes it is easy for life to go on autopilot and years fly by and you wonder were the time went. Henry Ford said “Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.” So I challenge you stay young and challenge yourself to new and exciting possibilities.
