BIO:
Erik entered into the IT industry in early 2001 as a Project Lead for the NMCI Project (Navy Marine Corps Intranet) organizing overnight parallel infrastructure deployments for several military bases throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey area from 2001-2003. Once the project was complete he then moved on to a multi-tier position in Malvern, PA as an IT consultant/Printer Repair/Managed Service Specialist/Helpdesk Tech as a cover for any technician unavailable for service until the sinking of the economy in which the company was sold in 2006.
Armed with a wide variety of technical expertise, Erik went out on his own as a freelance IT consultant in the Philadelphia metro area until starting a family in 2009, and seeking a quieter less demanding position as a Systems Administrator for a Pharmaceutical company in Center City Philadelphia until 2010. Since then Erik has been a permanently staffed Mytech Field Engineer in Trevose, PA.
Erik is usually in a position to help out whenever the need arises with his “Crouching tiger, hidden laptop” mentality. He spends a lot of his time honing his skillset with the desire to improve every chance he gets. Erik is also currently working on a BS degree in Information Technology Core Networking.
