BIO:
Joel has been in the local IT consulting industry since 1999. He started as a network engineer and soon moved into project management, operations management, and business consulting.
In 2009 Joel took some time away from the consulting world to fulfill one of his life goals, which was to hike from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail. 2700 miles and six pairs of shoes later, he returned to Minneapolis physically exhausted but emotionally rejuvenated and joined Mytech shortly thereafter.
At Mytech, he is responsible for providing and growing our business consulting offerings, and also for overseeing our IT projects. His passion is helping leaders of small and medium sized business define and execute their visions, and his greatest reward is when his clients see tangible results from his services.
Joel holds a handful of technical certifications from his years as a network engineer, an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, and a Masters degree in Theology. (He says of himself "I have a bad habit of getting degrees that I don't use.")
