Day James is one of the Mytech’s founding partners, with a background perhaps uncharacteristic of someone whose expertise is now to consult technology. Armed with a degree in English Literature, Day began his career doing voiceovers for radio and TV commercials, eventually becoming a Director of Creative Services for an advertising agency. His fateful transition to technical consulting began after a series of seeming random events led him to move to Minnesota and accept a job with a soon-to-fail dot.com business in 2000.
Day brings interesting perspective as to how technology works and benefits an organization. Because of his unique background, he is often able to explain technical solutions in an easy to understand manner. Day’s expertise is centric to the Financial Service industry… his practice expertise includes technology relevant to compliance for not only financial firms, but any Professional Service organization that requires compliance, including Disaster Recovery and Data Backup solutions, Email Retention solutions , and Server-oriented network infrastructure
Day James is ITIL v3 Certified. IT Infrastructure Library provides IT practitioners with a practical understanding of the key concepts, principles, processes and functions that enable successful IT Service Management provision.
